Every year on the second Saturday of August in Latvia begins hunting season of water bird. Ponds of LTD “Nagļi” are popular among duck hunters. Fish are fed with grain, therefore, there are lot of ducks in ponds.
In the opening day of water bird hunting season, every year in Nagļi arrives about 150 – 200 hunters and noone goes home without the ducks.
Hunting occurs also the rest Saturday and Sunday (in October occurs also goose hunting).
